Game drives are probably the most popular way to see wild animals in their natural habitat. Typically you will leave your lodge or camp either in the early morning or late afternoon and be driven slowly through the bush to view game. Drives during the day can also be arranged according to your needs. Being in a robust four wheel drive vehicle specially adapted for viewing game, allows you to get close to some of the predators and larger animals - safely. This gives you the opportunity to observe them at close quarters as well as providing some wonderful photo opportunities. If you prefer we can arrange for you to have your own private vehicle and guide.
Night game drives are also popular. The tracker uses a powerful light to spot wildlife giving you an insight into the nocturnal habits of a wide range of species from leopards to owls, hunting lion to nocturnal aardvarks. Game drives - and their timing - are customised to the needs of individual guests. We cater for those who want to focus on certain animals as well as those who are interested in birds, butterflies, insects and flora. |
