Adventure Calling is a privately run business with offices located in Johannesburg and Harare. Our aim is to provide our clients with personalised and exclusively guided trips to our lodges. Each of the lodges offers a wide range of specialised activities including birding, boating, bush walks, diving, fishing, game drives and tree identification. For the more adventurous we offer activities such as big cat blinds, black rhino crash, crocodile creek, wild dog chase, clay pigeon shooting, learning how to make biltong, four wheel drive excursions, sand boarding, instructed light aircraft flying lessons and many more exciting adventures. Eight of our lodges are located in Zimbabwe whilst the remaining two are in Mozambique. We believe that 'personal service' is the key. Each guest is on the holiday of a lifetime and personal requirements and finer details are catered for to ensure a true value for money trip.

Adventure Calling prides itself in being able to arrange some of the finest fishing opportunities for the discerning angler. Our private lakes in Lemco offer superb large mouth bass fishing with numerous 5 - 10 pound fish being caught as well as unparalleled bream fishing. The lodges on Lake Kariba and the Zambezi River have fantastic tiger fishing for both regular and fly fishermen and Bazaruto and Inhaca lodges offer some of the best offshore angling in Southern Africa. Zimbabwe has some of Africa's most spectacular and varied scenery linked by the majestic Zambezi River, the main artery of Zimbabwe. Beginning its' journey by cascading over the Victoria Falls, it is then squeezed through dramatic narrow gorges on its way to Lake Kariba, one of the worlds largest man made lakes. From there it meanders on to Mana Pools Park, a haven for wildlife, before continuing East and eventually exiting into the Indian Ocean. The spectacular mountain range of the Eastern Highlands forms the border with Mozambique and provide excellent opportunities for climbing, walking, golf and trout fishing. For those with an interest in culture, the brooding Matobo Hills are rich in history and the Great Zimbabwe Ruins inspire one to speculate on an era that is still not fully understood. For wildlife, the sheer scale of Hwange National Park, with its high concentration of elephants, the wilderness of Chizarira and the remoteness of Gona re Zhou, are just a few of the places waiting to be explored.

Off the coast of Mozambique, just inside the Tropic of Cancer, lies the tropical paradise of the Bazaruto Archipelago. A mere 20 minute motor boat ride across the channel from the town of Vilanculos on the mainland, are the three islands of the archipelago lying in the midddle of what has now been designated a marine national park. With pristine white beaches, palms, milk wood trees, sand dunes, scrubby forests, inland lakes and surrounded by crystal clear waters, these exotic islands are said to have some of the best diving in the world. You may be lucky enough to swim with dolphins or even see one of the worlds rarest mammals, the dugong. All resorts have a full range of water sports including snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing, sailing and cruising. There is also excellent bird watching and day trips on Arab dhows.
